Someone referred to Cinémathèque Française on the BBC and how they viewed classic cinema there
For me, Cinémathèque Française continues to be confusing
I visited there in Bercy, visited the Museum (which I considered inferior to the Cinema Museum in Berlin)
And when I explored the facility further, I was confused. As happens frequently in Paris, I was lost. I was looking for film archives, a library, a viewing theater and could not find anything.
Today, when I visit online, I fail to find any schedule of viewing
There was an extensive exhibit of early cameras, it appeared complete, but there was not much more
As I say, maybe I was lost, maybe I was missing something – I will continue to investigate
Am I missing something?
